Go where the buck gets you a bang- the bathroom.

Here are some pics of some great bathrooms:

Also check these out too!

When remodeling your bathroom, you can either do it on a dime, or multi-dollar.
Here are some suggestions if you want to improve the situation, but not break the bank:

1) Fixtures. Lights, faucets etc can be changed without breaking your bank account, and will have a great effect on the look.

2) Paint. Color change is often overlooked and great way to change the mood of your bathroom.

3) Toilet. A newer, nicer toilet can make an old bathroom suddenly much nicer!

4) Flooring. Not often super cheap, but most bathrooms are not huge castles, and can re-floored for less than you think. Marble, hardwood, pergo etc can all be done for less than you might think.

5) Candles, art, towels etc can also be improved to gain a new appearance for your bathroom. Mix and match, and even try your local swap meet or garage sales for unique ideas!

Stay tuned for more great LA Remodel ideas!

LA HOME REMODEL: Tips for Planning a New Kitchen

If you're eager to start building a hot, brand new kitchen, you've probably already been visiting Home Depot and Lowes centers and kitchen design shops, browsing for appliances, flooring and cabinets.
But the first step in building any room is to sit down and consider your needs so that you don't end up with a space that, while beautiful and stylish, doesn't match your specific lifestyle. By simply asking yourself some basic questions, you can ensure that the kitchen you build will be the perfect one for you.

Here is a list of some of the important topics that you should answer before designing your wonderful dream kitchen:

1. Entertaining. Are you the type of person who likes to have big groups over for dinner parties? If you are, you should consider planning for lots of counter space for food prep and perhaps a second dishwasher to make after-party cleanup an easy breeze.

2. Shopping habits. If you come home from the grocery store with a bunch of food to feed a big family, you'll probably need a very big refrigerator. If you have a small family or if you like to make smaller shopping trips several times a week, you can get away with a smaller model.

3. Cooking style. How much do you really like to cook? Do you prepare small portions of just a few dishes, or do you make multi-course dinners with lots of leftovers and goodies? The answers to these questions will affect both the size of your range, cook top area and your refrigerator.

4. Storage needs . The size or your of dishware, small appliances and cookware will effect your cabinetry choices. There are wonderful options for pot and pan storage, as well as great utensil storage systems that allow you to separate your utensils. Finding the best system for your needs will depend on whether you're a cook with four, five or six multi-use pans, or if you prefer to have a different gourmet pan for every cooking situation.

5. Style. Once you understand your specific cooking needs, you can start concentrating on the really fun part, such as designing a beautiful kitchen that shows off your decorating flair. So ask yourself the important questions, and start down the road towards the perfect new kitchen!

LOS ANGELES HOME REMODEL | IDEAS

LOS ANGELES HOME REMODEL

So youre thinking about a remodel, room addition, or just want to improve your home.

Real Estate experts say that focusing on kitchens and baths are the BEST way to maximize your investment.
Unfortunately those projects also usually cost the most and are usually extensive in nature, so for this week we will cover some inexpensive quick and easy projects
to dress up your home.

Quick and Easy..meaning little time, little effort and most importantly, little cost.

Project #1.
